In 2018, PixelEd will again be running our Meet Industry Event.

There will be 2 Industry Speakers as current representatives from the Industry (which provides you with good supporting evidence and contact for your RTO and registration)

Guest Speakers: 

Kim Deylen

Kim is a digital designer who wears many hats. Currently working as a Video Producer for Inspireworks, she also spends her time animating, video editing and working as a photographer. If you have ever been to the Top Screen or Top Design exhibitions over the years, you will have seen some animations and interactive screens which were created by Kim. Storytelling whilst creating high quality projects in collaboration with clients is her favourite part of working in the industry.

Wayne Chan

Wayne is a Digital Content Producer with Ridley College, an institute for higher learning and research in Christian theology. His responsibilities involve working with a team of online education experts in developing world class video learning resource for its graduate and undergraduate programs.

Before working at Ridley College, Wayne was an animator and worked on projects such as a National Geographic documentary, Mega buildings, and Happy Feet 2 the movie.

Wayne also sits on the board of Ozanimate, a non profit organization that seeks to serve local freelance animators and motion graphics designers by networking and informing on the latest happenings in the local creative market.

Wayne studied a Bachelors in animation at the Queensland College of Arts in Brisbane from 2008-2009. Prior to that, Wayne has served 2 years in the Singapore Armed Forces in a non-combat vocation with the 1st Commando Battalion and Ministry of Defence, Public Relations department.Wayne is married to Dr. Enqi Weng, who works as a research assistant at Deakin University.
